Localization

Prev Next

Localization is where you tell SESTEK AgenticCX which time zone your organization works in, and how dates, times, phone numbers and numbers should look. The settings belong to the whole tenant, so everyone in your organization sees the same time zone and the same formats. There is no per-user override.

Open it from Administration, Settings, then Localization.

The Localization entry appears in Settings if you have Manage Localization Settings or View Holiday Calendar. If you only have the holiday permission, you see the Holidays tab and not the two settings tabs.

The three tabs

Date & Number Formats tab with the Time Zone first

The page has three tabs: Date & Number Formats, Language and Holidays. The text at the top of the first two tabs sums it up: the time zone is also applied to date and time calculations, and the remaining preferences change presentation only.

Time Zone

Time Zone is the first field and the one that matters most. Your tenant works in one time zone, and SESTEK AgenticCX uses it whenever it has to decide what "today" or "9 o'clock" means. For example:

  • Dates and times shown across the application appear in the tenant time zone.
  • Calling windows of your campaigns are read in the tenant time zone, so "09:00 to 18:00" means your local office hours.
  • Dashboard and report figures that are grouped by day use days of the tenant time zone, so a call made just after midnight local time lands on the new day.

The underlying call and event times are stored in UTC, and the time zone is applied only when values are shown or when a local calendar day has to be worked out.

Searching the time zone list

Select the field to open the list, then type part of a city name to filter it. Every option shows the time zone name and its current offset from UTC, for example Europe/London (+00:00). Because the choices are named regions rather than fixed offsets, summer and winter time changes are handled for you, and you never have to adjust the setting twice a year.

FieldRequiredWhat to know
Time ZoneNoChoose a region from the list. Use the x in the field to clear it. A cleared field uses the value inherited from the platform, and if none is set, Europe/Istanbul applies

Date, time, phone and number formats

These four fields only change how values look. They do not change the stored data.

FieldRequiredOptions
Date FormatYesDD/MM/YYYY (default), MM/DD/YYYY, YYYY-MM-DD
Time FormatYes24-hour (default), 12-hour (AM/PM)
Phone Number FormatYesInternational, Local, Digits Only. The list shows an example pattern next to the first two
Number FormatYes1.234,56 (default) or 1,234.56

Time Format options

Phone Number Format options

Number Format options

Number Format decides which symbol separates thousands and which marks decimals. In 1.234,56 the dot groups thousands and the comma marks decimals. In 1,234.56 it is the other way round.

Save and Cancel

Changed values before saving

All fields of the Date & Number Formats tab are saved together with one Save button. Cancel throws away what you changed and puts every field back to the last saved value.

After Cancel, every field is back to its saved value

Language

Language tab

The Language tab has one required field, Language.

Language options

Three languages are available: العربية (Arabic), Türkçe (Turkish) and English. As on the other tab, use Save to keep your choice and Cancel to go back.

Holidays

Public holidays tab

The Holidays tab is the public holiday calendar of your tenant. The page explains it in one line: pick a country and year, then add the holidays your tenant observes. The tenant calendar drives campaign calling windows and date-based reporting.

  • Country and Year list the public holidays of that country for that year. Each holiday shows its date and weekday and a status. The header counts how many of them you already added, for example 0 / 14 added.
  • Search holiday filters the list, and Hide added hides the holidays you already added.
  • Add Selected adds the holidays you ticked. The footer says No holidays selected until you tick one.
  • Added Holidays lists what your tenant observes. Use the All, country and Custom chips to filter it.

Added holidays and the custom holiday form

At the bottom, Custom Holiday lets you add a day that is only for your tenant, such as a company foundation day. Enter a date and a name, then select Add Holiday.

Good to know

  • The time zone, formats and language apply to the whole tenant. Users cannot choose their own.
  • Only the Time Zone changes how dates are calculated. Date, time, phone and number formats change presentation only.
  • A tenant that clears its time zone follows the platform setting. If nothing is set anywhere, Europe/Istanbul is used.
  • Choose the time zone before you build campaign calling windows, so the windows and the holiday calendar are read in the right local time.
  • Only English, Türkçe and العربية are offered as the tenant language.
