Merges consecutive DTMF key presses into a single "Merged Dtmf" text event, so a multi-digit customer input (e.g. an account number) can be forwarded as one piece of text instead of one event per digit.

|---|---|---|
| DTMF Merge Threshold (ms) | How long to wait, after the last received digit, before considering the input finished and emitting the merged text. | 3000 |
Inputs
Audio
Used only to measure elapsed time since the last digit was received; it is not modified or forwarded.
Events

|---|---|---|
| Dtmf Press | Each digit (Data.Digit) is appended to the digit string currently being accumulated. |

| Merged Dtmf | Carries Data.Text, the concatenation of all digits received since the merge started, spanning from the first digit's StartSampleIndex to the last digit. |
Remarks
Working Principle
- The first Dtmf Press event starts a new accumulation.
- Every subsequent Dtmf Press event received before the threshold elapses is appended to the same accumulation.
- Once at least "DTMF Merge Threshold (ms)" worth of audio has passed since the last digit, the accumulated digits are emitted as a single Merged Dtmf event and the accumulation resets.
Project Structure
It is recommended for this node to be paired with an Event Filter so that only DTMF Press events are received.
