This page covers language support across two related but distinct capabilities: Speech Recognition (transcription) and Language Detection (identifying a conversation's dominant language).

Speech Recognition

Our platform supports a wide range of languages through seamless integration with our Speech Recognition (SR) service. The list of supported languages is dynamically retrieved from the SR system, ensuring that you always have access to the latest language capabilities without manual updates.

Dynamic Language Support

Thanks to our SR integration, all languages supported by the SR service are automatically available in our platform. This means:

• Always Up-to-Date: When new languages are added to the SR service, they become immediately available in our platform.
• No Manual Configuration Required: Language support is automatically synchronized.
• Comprehensive Coverage: Access to the full range of languages and dialects supported by the SR engine.

Language Detection

When Language Detection is enabled for a tenant, our system identifies the dominant language of a conversation whenever the language field arrives empty — for chat and email conversations, and for call conversations processed with a mix model.

Our system analyzes the conversation and determines its dominant language using an external language detection service. The result is converted to its ISO 639-1 code (e.g. tr, en, ar) and written back to the conversation.
